INDUCTION TASTE SMELL
How to use taste sensations for trance
Taste and Smell Hypnosis Induction
Everyone experiences the world differently. Some people are very visual, some pay attention most to what they hear, and some have to touch and feel their world. NLP suggests that no one is totally one or the other, but everyone has a preferred representational style.
A minority of people are mostly experience their world through taste and smell. This is known as the gustatory representational style.
This script focusses most on taste and smell as well as more normal ways to induce trance.
EXTRACT FROM TASTE AND SMELL INDUCTION
Taste the air | |||
Take a deep breath now... and become aware of all the sensations you are getting in this room right now...
Close your eyes... and think about all the sounds and smells you are sensing.... think about the feel of your body on the seat... of the weight of your arms and legs... | Dissociation
Become aware of how...with your eyes closed... relaxing... you could be anywhere... | I
and allow your imagination to visualize a lush tropical forest somewhere... trees and vines ... the smell of damp earth and decay hanging in the air.... and coloured birds in the trees high above... and down below... deep in the jungle... | V
and as you lie there... breathing quietly... relaxing more more with each breath... everything else begins to fade away... each breath making that forest seem more real... | D
and in those trees you see an ancient building... like a ruined temple... and there is a doorway... leading in... into a cool quiet place... and you leave all the noise and light and sensations outside... | V
and inside is dark and dim... just enough light to see by...
and you find yourself going down a long corridor... going deeper and deeper inside that building... | I | Deepener
and you come to a stone chamber.... deep inside... a room set up for some strange purpose... and in that room there is a stone like an altar... it feels as if everything has been set up ... waiting for you... ready to recieve you...
the room is filled with a smell like incence... a heavy smoky perfume... you find your head dropping... feeling heavy and sleepy... and each breath of that perfume makes you more and more tired.... | >
and there is a seat there ... covered with soft material... and you are so tired it would be so nice to relax now... | D
memory | and as you are relaxing more and more... you notice a small table nearby... and on that table a small box ... and you open the box... and inside are leaves and petals... and a small bottle... with a scent... like the most delicious thing you have ever tasted... and it reminds you of every wonderful thing you have eaten... and you drift away on the memory of that... | V
and as you breath in more that scent.... you feel a wave of relaxation taking you down deeper and deeper... | D
