The problem is eating badly. What is needed is to focus on why you eat bad food. It is not the behaviour that is important; it is what motivates you to behave that way when you know you shouldn’t.  

So you need to focus on what it is that happens just before you eat unhealthy food.

 Generally, what you need to do is to allow your mind to drift into trance and then bring up a memory of the last time you felt the urge to eat badly, even though part of you knew you shouldn't.  Keep thinking about that situation. Think about the feeling that you had at the time, allow your mind to go where it wants to go, and you will get some earlier memory, or a symbol or a deep feeling from the past that you recognize. Whatever it is will represent what it is that is making you prefer to eat badly.

Self hypnosis weight loss needs practice

 You will probably not get much further than that the first time you try it. But do it again, and you will find that you can begin to think questions about it: 'what is it for?'; 'why is this thing here now?'; 'what are you trying to tell me?' etc. At some point you will get an insight into what is driving your behaviour. Once you understand the origin of your behaviour you will be in a position to change it.

You can record the script and play it back to yourself, or you can study the structure and put yourself into trance by going over it in your mind. Both methods work well. Eventually, after some practice, you will be able to slip into trance just by willing it.

 Allow the thing to just be itself… just be curious about it… Become aware of what it is doing. Be an observer. Do not try to make sense of it, do not challenge it.  
 once you have that awareness… you can begin to interact with the image or symbol or feeling or whatever comes up.  
 you will find that you can begin to think questions about it :  
 Keep wondering about the thing… let it reveal itself to you…
